Ahmet Gülmez's Topkapı Palace Night Tour
Tour details
Topkapı Palace, one of the most important structures in Istanbul and Ottoman history, is explored in a night atmosphere with the narration of Ahmet Gülmez. The tour begins after meeting in front of Kuleli Gate at 8:30 p.m. and distributing the headphones.
During the tour, important points such as the front garden of Topkapı Palace, Bab-ı Hümayun, II. Mahmud Karakolu, Namazgâh, Hagia Irene, the Imperial Mint, the Executioner’s Fountain, and Seng-i İbret will be described.
Within the palace courtyards, historical sections such as Babüsselam, the Imperial Kitchen, the Royal Stables, the Imperial Treasury, the Tower of Justice, the Audience Hall, Babüssaade, the Chamber of Audience, the Seferliler Quarter, the Inner Treasury, the Enderun Library, and the Enderun Mosque will be visited.
The tour program also includes the Harem and Holy Relics sections. Due to restoration work carried out on historical structures or seasonal reasons, some points may be explained from the outside.
The Topkapı Palace night entry ticket is not included in the tour fee. Participants are required to buy their entry tickets from the ticket office when they arrive in front of Kuleli Gate and to keep their identification with them throughout the tour. The planned end time of the tour is 11:00 p.m.

Need to Know
Participants should purchase their entrance tickets themselves at the ticket booths when they arrive at the front of Kuleli Gate and have them ready. It is mandatory to carry identification during the tour. Depending on the restoration status of the historical structures, some of the points in the program may be explained from the outside.
