🍂 WE ARE FOLLOWING NATURE'S TRAIL AT YEDİGÖLLER! 🌲
Surrounded by seven lakes, each with its own distinct character, within the unique nature of Bolu, Yedigöller National Park is a special route to be explored not only for its beautiful views, but also for its geological formation, rich vegetation, and changing seasons.
Yedigöller takes its name from seven different lakes located close to one another. These lakes were formed when landslides that occurred in the past naturally blocked the mouths of the valleys. For this reason, the size, shoreline structure, and natural texture of each lake differ from one another.
🌲 So what do we see inside the forest?
During our walk, we have the opportunity to closely observe the rich forest texture formed by different tree species such as beech, hornbeam, oak, fir, and Scots pine. Especially in autumn, as the leaves change color, we encounter entirely different shades within the same forest.
The reflection of the trees around the lakes on the water creates one of the most characteristic views of Yedigöller. However, the beauty here is not limited to the scenery; we also discuss together how the forest was formed, the relationship between the lakes, and the effect of the seasons on this natural environment.
🍁 In autumn, the leaves of the beeches turn yellow and those of the oaks turn brown and red, and together with the green texture of the firs and pines, they create layers of color in the forest.
🌿 During our Yedigöller excursion;
• We explore the formation story of the seven lakes,
• The distinct features of each lake,
• The forest ecosystem of the region and its tree species,
• The color changes experienced in autumn,
• The natural life of the national park,
• The natural relationship between forest and lake,
• The historical and natural characteristics of the region
together.
And of course, we complete all this exploration accompanied by pleasant walks within the forest and views of the lakes. 🌲🍂
At Yedigöller, we not only look at the scenery, but also explore how nature was formed and how it changes.
