The Most Enjoyable Way to Discover the World Starts with Uçur Tur...
Meeting at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal. Departure with AJet Airlines to Cairo, built on the banks of the Nile River and bearing the traces of civilizations with its thousands of years of history. After our arrival, transfer to our hotel to rest and overnight stay.
After having breakfast at the hotel, we begin our program by visiting the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. In this modern museum, which presents Egyptian history in chronological integrity, the Royal Mummy Hall particularly stands out. After our tour, we visit the area known as the City of the Dead, one of the world’s most impressive necropolis sites. In this mystical atmosphere, we visit the peaceful tomb of Imam al-Shafi’i. We then proceed to Muizz Street, considered the heart of Cairo. As we walk along this unique street, the finest examples of Islamic architecture bearing the traces of different centuries greet us. Elegant Sabil-Kuttab structures, magnificent Mamluk complexes, mosques adorned with Turkish inscriptions from the Ottoman period, and historic caravanserais make us feel as if we are touring an open-air museum. Continuing our excursion, we visit Khan el-Khalili, one of Cairo’s most famous and lively bazaars. After some pleasant free time among the scents of spices, handicrafts, and the enchanting colors of the East, we visit the Al-Hussein Mosque. In the final part of our program, we enjoy a panoramic view of Al-Azhar University, one of the oldest centers of learning in the Islamic world. At the end of the day, after this history- and culture-filled exploration, we have dinner at a local restaurant, then return to our hotel for accommodation.
After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we set out to visit the Giza Pyramids, one of the most magnificent legacies of the ancient world. We see the Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, and then continue our program with the Great Sphinx. After our pyramid visit, we give about 2 hours of free time for our guests who wish to explore the Great Egyptian Museum (GEM) located in the pyramids area individually (museum entrance fee is not included in the tour fee). Afterwards, we ascend to the Cairo Citadel, rising on a hill overlooking Cairo. Here we see important structures, especially the Mosque of Muhammad Ali of Kavala. In the final part of our tour, we visit the Mosque of Ahmad Ibn Tulun and complete our program. After completing our program, we have dinner at a local restaurant, then return to our hotel and stay overnight.
After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, we depart for Cairo Airport. Arrival after our domestic flight to Luxor. (Note: The times and days of domestic flights may vary depending on airline availability. Accordingly, changes may be made in the program flow. For early flights, breakfast may be taken as a lunchbox.) After our arrival in Luxor, on our exploration tour on the west bank of the Nile River, our first stop will be the Valley of the Kings. In this fascinating region, where the tombs of many pharaohs of Ancient Egypt are carved into the rocks, we follow the traces of the past step by step. Then, we visit the magnificent Temple of Hatshepsut, built in honor of Hatshepsut. After our tour, we have dinner at a local restaurant. Then transfer to the hotel where we will stay. Overnight at our hotel in Luxor.
After breakfast at the hotel, we visit Karnak Temple, located on the east bank of the Nile River and the largest temple complex in Egypt. This magnificent structure, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was expanded by different pharaohs over hundreds of years and is highly impressive with its hypostyle hall made up of 134 massive columns, obelisks, and statues. Then, in the afternoon, we visit Luxor Temple. After our tour of this temple, which stands out with its location on the banks of the Nile and its magnificent structure, we continue with our program.
